This day is geared to mama entrepreneurs in the early stages of business – whether you just have an idea for a business, are 2 years into running a one, or somewhere in between.
The topics covered will help you acquire key skills and implement critical strategies that will help you become more focused, productive and effective at what you do. The Mamas & Co. An energetic, encouraging and engaging presenter, Jennifer delights audiences with her unique blend of practical wisdom shared through her compassionate spirit and self.
Lisa McGrath and Alicia Flaherty have a combined 20+ years marketing experience in branding, communications and social media. They formed CAVEA together with two other partners knowing that the traditional 9-5 schedule wouldn’t accommodate the agenda of family life and wanting to build something of their own. CAVEA is a boutique marketing and design studio helping start-ups to launch and new businesses to grow by defining their brand and creating marketing strategies that bring their businesses to life across all platforms. They guide brand consistency for their clients across all channels including social media platforms, content direction, online user experience and web design. Alicia and Lisa are always honoured to work directly with business owners to help them achieve their goals and voice their brands.
Jayne Dykstra is the owner of JnH Bookkeeping, a bookkeeping service geared towards small businesses. She’s been working with small business owners since 2008 and loves finding solutions to messy finances. She strives to personalize her services to suit each situation and give each client the peace of mind and financial understanding they desire. Jayne worked with Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders), the Toronto District School Board and overseas before starting her own business in Toronto. As a people person, Jayne loves working with the owners as much as the numbers.
Adrienne Ng is a corporate/commercial and trade-mark lawyer. She is co-founder of Open LLP, a law firm for start-ups, entrepreneurs and technology companies.

What to wear to the New Business Bootcamp?
- Attire is Business Casual. What does that mean? Jeans a nice top is fine. Wear what you would wear to a meet-up or networking event. Something you can sit, work and move around in, as this is a full day event and we want you to feel comfortable.
